Storytime in the Garden
Storytime in the Garden is presented in partnership between Lead to Read KC, KC Parks and the Kansas City Rose Society. 
Summer is here and it is time to celebrate with “Storytime in the Garden” at Loose Park!  Local children book authors will read their books and the children will do an activity connected to the book. 
A great summer activity for children ages: 4 - 12

About Our September 30th Event Featuring Vladimir Sainte.
  • This event is Free & Open to the public.

With more than 10 years’ experience as a therapist, Vladimir Sainte, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) has made an invaluable impact on the Kansas City community through his work as a social worker, crisis clinician, and children’s book author.

As a committed equality advocate, Sainte is a member of the Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) community—while also providing counseling support to not only children, but to their families and the broader community through a holistic partnership.

Sainte graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
