The 2016 Jazz in the Roses event will be August 28th in the Laura Conyers Smith Rose Garden and promises to be the largest and best annual event ever. This year for a return appearance we are featuring the exciting and dynamic Grand Marquis Band.

This year we have Kansas City Rose Society member Martha Lally as our spokesperson, Martha is very active in KCRS events, is a former board member and a well-known Kansas City personality. Also Chuck Haddix Kansas City Jazz icon from KCUR’s Fish Fry has agreed to join Martha as co-emcee.
