Ed and Betsy Holland claimed the
Queen, King and Princess of Show At the 2010 Rose Show sponsored
by the Kansas City Rose Society and Rosehill Gardens. The
winning roses were LynnAnderson, Olympiad and Touch
Of Class.
Holland also won Queen and King (Tangerine
Twist and Incognito) in the "mini" category.
Dr. and Mrs. Glenn Hodges took the
prize for Princess of Minis with Black Jade.
The Hollands won a total of 14
awards, Donna Kitterman claimed 8 and the Hodges showed 6 award
winners. Lauren English and Jerry Dreyer both claimed 4 awards
each. Donna Kitterman almost swept the arrangements category,
taking 5 of the 6 prizes.
Other winners were Rhonda Zieman,
Laura Dickinson and Kandi McCasland . A total of 312 roses
and/or arrangements were entered this year.
